GATOR News: Get your free volunteer t-shirt!
Hello GATOR families:
As you already know, it is going to require help from each and every Gator family to host a successful championship meet. Although the date is drawing closer, the exact number of volunteer hours needed continues to change as some tasks reach completion while new needs arise. We’ve been assured that in past championships seasons,Gator families have always stepped up to the challenge, and most were at the pool for the entire meet! Based on the response from this year’s team and the willingness you’ve displayed to volunteer in regular season meets thus far, we’re confident that this year will be no exception! Thank you for your generosity. We would also like to thank the many folks who have already put countless hours into planning efforts!
Volunteer t-shirts…As a small token of appreciation, we will be offering a free volunteer t-shirt to each Gator family who signs up for their 3 championship shifts. If you have two family members signed up to volunteer, please request a shirt for each person. However, there is a two T-shirt limit per family. Extra shirts can be purchased through the volunteer shirt store. These shirts will also allow visiting teams to easily identify Gator volunteers if assistance is needed. In addition, we hope to foster team spirit and unity by proudly displaying our Swamp Crew tees!
To redeem your free T-shirt, log on to the team website and sign up for a minimum of 3 volunteer shifts per family – we really appreciate those who sign up for even more! Next, send an email to volunteer coordinator, Jenni Haley email@example.com to receive the password to access the online store. Finally, click on the link below to order your shirt.
You need to act quickly! The on-line store will close this Wednesday, July 10 at 8:00 pm. Additional shirts cannot be ordered after the store closes. Shirts will be available for pick up during tent set up Sunday evening before champs or check with one of our volunteer coordinators when you report for your first shift.
